County adopts Fallbrook Sub-Area Plan for downtown revitalization
San Diego County's Board of Supervisors adopted a Fallbrook Sub-Area Plan in December 2024 aimed at revitalizing and beautifying the downtown corridor to attract residents, businesses, and tourism.
“On December 11, 2024, the County Board of Supervisors adopted the Fallbrook Sub-Area Plan. The Plan is the result of a collaborative effort between the community, various stakeholders, and County groups. The Plan supports revitalization and beautification efforts for the Fallbrook downtown area.”
Why it matters: Confirms San Diego County (not a city) is Fallbrook's planning and permitting authority, and signals new downtown construction activity that could pair with solar and battery upgrades.
